Introducing NoteRez
Posted: 2009-07-27 16:21:19 by cyanpjh
Introduction NoteRez and NoteStacker would be the first attempts at "creative" note effect machines in Nakalyne. NoteRez is loosely based on probabilistic "excitation" depending on the note passing through the machine. However, instead of the signal boost found in resonant filters, NoteRez creates "excited" note scatter, where the magnitude of the duplication and scatter is determined by the closeness of the input notes to the center frequency and the octave zone defined. How to Use NoteRez

Introduction Because of the way Nakalyne works with note information. NoteGate was devised to provide a way to stop and start "flow" of notes to different machines from a single source of notes, such as a NoteTracker, hence the name. Step 1: Add Machines The first step is to add the machines for this tutorial, which are the NoteTracker, two NKS0s, and a NoteGate. Step 2: Rough Connects Connect NoteTracker to NoteGate, connect the NKS0's to Master with a swift shift+drag action over the ma

Posting Basics In order to post, simply click the "Post New Entry..." and edit in the boxes, pushing "Post Content" posts the content right away; however, you can edit the post later on for additions and corrections. There's no real guidelines at the moment because of the r...
